Riad
Fawzi is a graduate from an Accounting & Finance degree from
the LSE. He also holds a Masters (Dist.) from the information Systems
department of the LSE. He is currently a doctoral researcher in
his fourth year in Information Systems at the London School of Economics
and Political Science (LSE) in privacy, electronic banking and information
systems with a background and interest in finance, Anti-Money Laundering
and related areas. Prior to joining LSE at this level, he had experience
in accounting, investments and Information Technology projects.
Riad has taught in the Masters programme in Information Systems
at LSE since 2000 and is a Research Officer at the LSE IS integrity Group.
As part of his
work at the Centre he has conducted research for bodies such as
the Financial Services Authority (FSA) on electronic finance and
on the privacy question. He has also prepared consultancy projects,
such as a report on the management of policies in a global banking
environment for a multinational bank focusing on information security,
information privacy, consumer protection in online finance, compliance
and control of money laundering.
