John is Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Warwick Business School. He is also a fellow of ISIG, the Information Systems Integrity Group at the LSE.

As a member of the ISIG, he coordinates the interoperability workpackage of the FIDIS project (www.fidis.net) and led a research project on intranets and trust (inTrust project). He is also working with James Backhouse on the role and impact of intranets in managing information in organisations.

John has over 10 years experience as an IS professional. He is a recognised specialist consultant on intranet strategy. John benchmarks intranets of global and FTSE100 organisations as specialist consultant for the Intranet Benchmarking Forum (www.ibforum.com). John's previous positions include Director of New Technologies for the Conservative Party in the UK, Call Centre Project Manager for a bank and ticketing project manager for Expo 98 World Exhibition.
